Man arrested after Llandudno Junction crash which saw large emergency service response

An man has been arrested following a crash in Llandudno Junction which attracted a large emergency service response.

North Wales Police were called just after 9.30pm last night (Thursday) to reports of a collision involving a car, a van and a stationary vehicle on the A547 Conway Road.

The road was closed with the Welsh Ambulance Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service also in attendance alongside officers from the police roads crime unit.

One man has since been arrested on suspicion of various driving offences and has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.

A force spokesperson has appealed for witnesses to the collision to come forward.

They said: “Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has information that could assist our investigation is asked to contact us via our live webchat facility or on 101 quoting ref Q046894.”
