Four convicted over conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine on Anglesey
Four people have today been convicted of conspiring to supply heroin and cocaine on Anglesey.
Dean James Evans, 54, Helen Lyn Evans, 42, Bethan Gwyneth Farr, 48, and Mandy Madine, 43, all of Holyhead, carried out the offences between March 2020 and April 2021.
Dean Evans and Helen Evans (pictured) were found to have played significant roles within the conspiracy. Dean Evans was sentenced to five years and four months in prison and Helen Evans to four years and six months.
Mandy Madine and Bethan Farr were each given a 24-month suspended sentence for their roles in the conspiracy.
Detective Constable Liam Carr welcomed the sentencing from the court today. He said: ‘This was a long and complex investigation, following the execution of warrants and pro-active stops carried out by the Western Priority Crime Team, Anglesey Tasking Team and Interceptor Team.
“We will continue to target those involved in the supply of controlled drugs and are committed to protecting the wider community, and especially the vulnerable people that are preyed upon by such criminals.”
