Five people have been arrested as a result of a series of search warrants in North Wales and Merseyside.

2 men and a woman from Merseyside plus 2 local men were arrested following the warrants in which drugs, cash and weapons were seized.

In a joint initiative following investigation by Central Division Priority Crime Team to tackle County Lines drug dealing, the operation included officers from CID, Neighbourhood Policing, the dog section, CSI, Interceptor team and the newly created Targeted Activity Team that covers Conwy and Denbighshire.

Detective Inspector Daf Curry said: “This operation shows we will go after those organised criminals who seek to profit from the misery of others and use a variety of resources to do so.”

“With the help of the community we will gladly continue with operations like these to pursue any criminal groups that operate in the area.”
