Firefighters are investigating the cause of a blaze at a house on Anglesey yesterday evening.

Crews were called to an address in Bodorgan at 7.12pm, with crews from Rhosneigr, Menai Bridge and Colwyn Bay and an aerial ladder platform from Bangor attending.

The fire led to the closure of the B4422 between Bethel and Bodorgan as smoke and fumes caused poor visibility for drivers.

Residents living nearby were urged to keep their windows and doors shut as firefighters tackled the blaze.

A stop was called to the incident at 12.17am, with a crew returning to monitor the scene at 7.13am this morning.

A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the fire took place in the roof of the house and the cause is still unknown, with investigation work currently being carried out.
