Drug driver arrested after veering onto wrong side of road on A496

A man has been arrested for drug driving after being spotted driving on the wrong side of the road in Gwynedd.

The 25-year-old was working in the Barmouth area when he was seen by police veering into oncoming traffic on the A496 near Tal-y-bont.

The driver from Llandudno failed a drug test for cannabis and cocaine.

He was then arrested and taken to custody in Caernarfon.

In a post on Facebook, North Wales Police Gwynedd South officers said: “Great result from Barmouth Policing Team!”
