A driver making a getaway from police in Rhyl ditched his car so quickly he forgot to close his windows.

Officers were busy dealing with another motorist in the town yesterday when the man sped off.

His vehicle was later found abandoned and seized after he was found to have no insurance.

Police have now encouraged him to come forward to recover the car.

Members of the intercept team said: “If you are the male who was seen running away from the vehicle and were in too much of a rush to close your windows, lock the doors and take out insurance then give us a call, we would love to reunite you both (bring your wallet!).”
