Police have issued an update in relation to a child abduction incident on Anglesey.

North Wales Police say, “The six adults who were arrested in connection with the incident have all been charged with kidnap. One of them has also been charged with possession of a bladed article.”

“All six have been remanded to appear before Llandudno Magistrates Court on Monday, November 9th.”

No names of those charged have been released.

Earlier police said they are particularly keen on speaking to anyone who was in the area of Cae Glas, Gaerwen between 3:45pm and 4pm on Wednesday, 4th November and also to anybody who may have been on Cyttir Lane, at the rear of Tesco in Bangor between 3:50pm and 4:10pm on the same day.

Detective Inspector Chris Bell of North Wales Police said: “Thankfully the child was recovered safe and well by our colleagues in Northamptonshire, after excellent early investigative work by my North Wales colleagues.

“This is a fast-moving investigation and we are appealing to anybody who witnessed a silver Citroen Picasso with the false number plate, YD58 UVC in both Gaerwen or Cyttir Lane to come forward.”

“We are also keen on speaking to anybody who may have seen a silver Ford Galaxy with the registration DG13 WML in the Cyttir Lane area.

“Anybody who was in either area at around the same time and who may have dash cam footage, or private CCTV is also urged to get in touch.”

Anybody who can assist with the investigation is asked to contact officers at North Wales Police quoting incident number 20000670162.
