A55 reopens in both directions by Llanddulas after Air Ambulance lands on carriageway

UPDATE: The road has reopened in both directions.

North Wales Police have said the A55 is closed this afternoon.

An RTC has taken place near Llanddulas, with the closure in place between Junction 22 to Junction 23.

Police say, “Officers are currently dealing with a road traffic collision. Please avoid the area and use alternative routes where possible. Thank you.”

The top image was broadcast via Traffic Wales, showing emergency services at the scene, and the below image of the air ambulance landing.

The Air Ambulance later returned to base.
