Woman arrested after reports of person ‘attempting to grab hold of children’ on Anglesey

A woman has been arrested after reports were received of someone “attempting to grab hold of children” in a town on Anglesey.

Police said they had been made aware of concerns about an incident on a street in Llangefni.

A 35-year-old woman was located and arrested for an assault on an 11-year-old boy. She has since been recalled to prison.

Police said: “We’d like to reassure the local community that this was an isolated incident.

“There have been no further reports of similar behaviour and no further suspects are outstanding for this incident.”
