Two arrested after spate of arsons on Anglesey as police appeal for further information

Two men have been arrested overnight after a spate of arsons on Anglesey.

Police have also appealed for further information following the incidents which took place in and around Llangefni.

They are specifically asking dog walkers, runners or anyone else doing their daily exercise around the Dingle and Cefni reservoir to get in touch.

Detective Inspector Andrew Gibson said: “As we have seen, these fires can spread rapidly and are not only damaging the wildlife and environment, but present a real risk to life.
