Two arrested after fire in Beaumaris as police launch joint investigation

Two people have been arrested following a fire at a property on Anglesey.

Police and firefighters were called to an address at Ffordd Meigan, Beaumaris this morning.

Following the incident, a man and a woman were taken into police custody and a joint investigation into the cause is now underway.

Inspector Chris Hargrave said: “Fortunately no one has been injured during this incident.

“A joint investigation is ongoing with our fire and rescue service colleagues.

“We are keen to speak to anyone with any information about the circumstances of this fire.

“If you have not already spoken to the police this morning but witnessed anything or have any information regarding this incident, please contact us on 101.”
