Teenager arrested after 63 year old man assaulted in Llandudno Junction – as video of alleged attack goes viral

Police have said today a 18 year old male has been arrested after an assault on a 63 year old man in Llandudno Junction

In a short statement police have said: “An 18 year old male is in custody following an assault on a 63 year old man in Llandudno Junction late in the afternoon of Sunday 8th March.”

Police are also appealing for witnesses, “If you witnessed this or have any information please contact PC 2925 Taylor at Llandudno Police Station ref 20000148173.”

A family member has also appealed for witnesses to come forward in a post on social media, “Looking for witnesses … my dad a man in his 60s was attacked by a gang of teenagers including girls who were laughing away by Castle Autohouse cars.”

The incident, that appears to have been caught on CCTV, took place on the corner of Glan-Y-Mor Road / Ferry Farm Road.
