Officers are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash which occurred on the Felinheli Bypass last night.

Just before 8.30pm, police were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the two-lane section of bypass towards Caernarfon from the Vaynol Roundabout.

The incident involved a black coloured Hyundai car and a scooter.

The main riding the scooter was taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd with serious injuries.

Sergeant Raymond Williams, who is leading the investigation, is urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage showing the scooter travelling towards the bypass from the Bangor direction to contact officers at the Western Roads Policing Unit.

You can do so by calling 101 or via the live web chat quoting reference number 20000699954.
