Police have launched an appeal after a member of the public made a grim discovery in Gwynedd.

A pile of dead rabbits was found in the Porthmadog area, which officers believe could be linked to poaching.

Members of the rural crime team are now asking anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

In their post on Facebook, they said: “A pile of dead rabbits has been found by a member of the public in the Porthmadog area. Possibly a result of poaching. Please let us know if you have any info. Diolch.”

The team also released a pretty graphic image of the find which can be seen below.
