Police warning after reports of man ‘trying door handles’ in Penrhyn Bay area

Police have issued a warning after receiving reports of a man “trying door handles”.

Officers said the man had attempted to gain entry to properties in the Penrhyn Bay area on several occasions during the early hours of the morning.

Patrols have now been increased as a result of the incidents.

Members of the West Conwy Coastal Team said: “Please can you ensure that you lock all the doors to your property even when you are at home and report any suspicious activities to us immediately by call 101 or via our on line live web chat which can be located on our force website.”
