Police have uncovered a “sophisticated cannabis grow” during a raid on an address in Kinmel Bay.

Officers kicked in the door of a property in the village in Conwy county yesterday.

A substantial amount of cannabis was seized and three men were taken in for questioning.

One of the suspects tried to play hide and seek with officers but he was soon found in the loft.

Members of the North Wales Police Intercept Team also had an interesting encounter with a passer by, who told them: “You’re not getting in that, you little sausages!”

Posting on Facebook, they said: “Thank you to the passer-by for his inspiration as we kicked a door yesterday.

“Well, we ‘got in that’ and below are pictures of just some of what we found!”
