Police have told holidaymakers not to advertise their trip on Facebook following a burglary in Colwyn Bay.

A sign has been put up on Abergele Road to alert residents after a recent incident.

It involved someone coming back after a vacation to find their door broken and items stolen from within.

Members of the North Wales Police Central Community Safety Team said: “If you are planning a trip make sure you don’t advertise this on social media.”
