Police seek dog walker who may have witnessed serious stabbing in Holyhead

Police have appealed to a dog walker who may have witnessed a serious stabbing in Holyhead to come forward.

Officers were called after a man suffered a stab wound in an incident near the Tan-Yr-Efail estate in at about 8.20pm on Friday, 7 January.

An appeal for information has now been renewed by North Wales Police with the force keen to hear from one potential witness in particular.

DS Adam Sergeant said: “Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing and we are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

“In particular, we would like to speak to a person we believe was walking a dog in the area of the Maeshyfryd Cemetery at around 8.20pm on this date.

“We believe the person to have walked through the alleyway from Maeshyfryd Road leading towards the Tan-Yr-Efail direction.

“Our enquiries would suggest that this person was wearing hi-vis or reflective clothing, and possibly a head torch and head phones.
