Police launch ‘urgent appeal’ after late night A55 collision

North Wales Police launched an ‘urgent’ appeal just after midnight for witnesses to a crash on the A55.

Police said they wished to hear from witnesses to a collision on the westbound carriageway of the A55 at Valley near Junction 4 at around 10:45pm last night. The westbound carriageway was closed to traffic with a large emergency service response.

Police said, “If you have been in the area around this time and have seen anything at all, please contact us on 101 citing reference Y113659”.

No further details have as yet been released.
