Police launch appeal over spate of burglaries in Gwynedd

Police are appealing for information following a recent spate of burglaries in the south Gwynedd area.

The incidents were reported across several locations between 6-8 January and are believed to have occurred during the daytime or early evening.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious behaviour on these dates in the following areas: Bethel (near Bala), Pennal, Arthog, Rhydymain and Aberangell.

North Wales Police said: “Any reported sightings of a White Seat Leon Cupra Estate in these areas would be of specific interest.

“Officers would also like to hear from anyone in the Derwent Crescent area of Wrexham who may have information regarding vehicles matching this description.

“A white Seat Leon Cupra Estate was found abandoned in this area on Tuesday, 11 January and is relevant to our ongoing investigations.
