An appeal has been launched after unusual graffiti messages were daubed on walls in Llanfairfechan.

North Wales Police said it was aware of two separate incidents on Station Road in the town.

One message reads “Don’t kill your self (please)”, while the other says “What are u grateful for?”

Officers described the graffiti as “totally unacceptable”.

Members of the West Conwy Coastal policing team said: “We will be working jointly with Llanfairfechan Town Council on the matter and increased patrols will continue by local police to deter any further incidents.

“We are keen to hear from anyone with information with regards to these incidents and advise members of the public to report any further incidents directly to North Wales Police via the 101 system or online chat.”
