Police investigate racist graffiti attack after swastika sprayed on woman’s home

Police are investigating after racist graffiti was daubed on a woman’s house in Gwynedd.

At approximately 2am an offender spray painted a swastika onto a garage door on the property located on Penygroes High Street.

Officers were called shortly after 9am this morning and enquiries are now underway.

Anybody who may have information or witnessed suspicious behaviour around the area overnight is asked to contact PC Mathew Tapping at Penygroes Police Station on 101 or via live webchat quoting reference number Y084193.

Hi All. Margaret Ogunbanwo, our dear Sister who lives in Penygroes, Gwynedd woke up this morning to see this on her garage. This is a hate crime and we will handle it as such.
