Police catch motorcyclist speeding at 102mph on A499 in Gwynedd

Police have caught a motorcyclist speeding at 102mph on the A499 in Gwynedd.

Officers were conducting speed checks on a section of the 6omph road in Trefor yesterday evening when they clocked the biker.

Other vehicles were also caught travelling at speeds of 85mph, 90mph and 96mph.

Officers from the North Wales Police roads policing unit said: “Faster speeds mean greater impacts. Simple.”
