An appeal has been made after cash and a charity box were stolen from a pub in Denbighshire.

The Dudley Arms Hotel in Llandrillo was broken into by three men in the early hours of Sunday morning.

They took £200 in cash and a charity box which had an unknown amount of money inside.

The pub’s owners said: “Just to let everybody know, we were broken into last night at 4.30am.

“The police have been and are looking into it. We are both fine and would like to thank everybody for their messages of concern this morning.”

If anyone has any information that could help, they are asked to get in touch with police by calling 101 and quoting reference number Z067887.
