Motorcyclist caught speeding at 108mph in 60mph zone in Gwynedd

A motorcyclist has been caught speeding at 108mph in a 60mph zone in Gwynedd.

Officers were carrying out checks on the A499 in Trefor yesterday when the shocking speed was recorded.

Members of the North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit said cars were also clocked doing 104, 83 and 80mph.

They added that the driver who was caught at 80mph also had an expired licence.
