More than 60 speeders caught on new Caernarfon bypass over weekend

A total of 65 drivers were caught speeding on a newly built bypass in North Wales over the weekend.

Teams from the GoSafe Welsh road casualty reduction bypass were out monitoring drivers on the A487 Caernarfon to Bontnewydd bypass.

One driver was caught travelling at 83mph in the 60mph area.

North Wales Police said its officers and GoSafe would continue to keep an eye on speeds on the new stretch of road.
