‘Mindless’ overnight tyre slashing spree in Llanrwst leads to police appeal for information

Update: Police officers have confirmed that two males have been taken into custody following the damage caused to vehicles in Llanrwst last night.

They have also thanked all the local people who helped them with their enquiries.

Police have appealed for information after two males went on a tyre slashing spree overnight.

A number of cars parked in Llanrwst were targeted during the incident, which took place at around 4am this morning.

Officers have encouraged people living in the area to check their CCTV footage for clues.

They said: “We need your help Llanrwst. 2 males have gone on a mindless spree slashing tyres on numerous cars in the Llanrwst area at about 0400 this morning.

“Please check your CCTV. If you have any information that may assist, ring 101 or use web chat quoting the reference Y059742.”
