‘Mindless’ overnight tyre slashing spree in Llanrwst leads to police appeal for information

Update: Police officers have confirmed that two males have been taken into custody following the damage caused to vehicles in Llanrwst last night. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

They have also thanked all the local people who helped them with their enquiries. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

Police have appealed for information after two males went on a tyre slashing spree overnight. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

A number of cars parked in Llanrwst were targeted during the incident, which took place at around 4am this morning. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

Officers have encouraged people living in the area to check their CCTV footage for clues. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

They said: “We need your help Llanrwst. 2 males have gone on a mindless spree slashing tyres on numerous cars in the Llanrwst area at about 0400 this morning. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

“Please check your CCTV. If you have any information that may assist, ring 101 or use web chat quoting the reference Y059742.” ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​
