Man arrested by armed police after ‘suspected stabbing incident’ in Rhyl

A man has been arrested after a ‘suspected stabbing incident’ in Rhyl last night.

North Wales Police say they were called just before 9pm to reports of a ‘disturbance’.

One man sustained minor injuries, and another was arrested on suspicion of wounding after the call at 8:56pm.

The incident took place on Sandringham Avenue, Rhyl.

The Alliance Armed Policing Unit, the armed police team that covers North Wales and Cheshire, attended the incident and helped make the arrest.

A police dog unit also attended.
