A number of golf buggies were stolen from a golf club in Denbighshire last night and driven around the town.

Footage shared on social media shows people riding the carts taken from Rhuddlan Golf Club.

Police were called and two of the buggies were initially recovered, with the two remaining being found and returned this morning.

Posting on Facebook, golf club officials said: “Unfortunately x4 of our buggies have been stolen and driven around the town tonight.

“Thanks to local residents and police x2 have been recovered.”

They latter added: “All buggies have now been found and returned.

“Many thanks to local residents and police who helped.”
