Golf buggies stolen from Denbighshire golf club and driven around town

A number of golf buggies were stolen from a golf club in Denbighshire last night and driven around the town. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

Footage shared on social media shows people riding the carts taken from Rhuddlan Golf Club. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

Police were called and two of the buggies were initially recovered, with the two remaining being found and returned this morning. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

Posting on Facebook, golf club officials said: “Unfortunately x4 of our buggies have been stolen and driven around the town tonight. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

“Thanks to local residents and police x2 have been recovered.” ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

They latter added: “All buggies have now been found and returned. ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​

“Many thanks to local residents and police who helped.” ‌​‌‌​​​‌‍‌​‌​‌​​​
