Four arrested after serious assault near Denbigh kebab shop

Four people have been arrested following an assault near a kebab shop in Denbigh which saw a man suffer serious injuries.

Police were called at approximately 1am on Sunday to reports of an incident near the Star Grill kebab shop in the town centre.

Officers attended and the 23-year-old victim was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with serious injuries.

Following a witness appeal, North Wales Police has now confirmed that several arrests have been made.

The force said: “We have arrested four persons in relation to the assault which took place in the early hours of the morning of Sunday 25th July in the vicinity of Star Grill Kebab Shop in Denbigh.

“Enquiries are continuing and anybody with any information is asked to contact St Asaph CID via the website or by calling 101 quoting reference number Z107761.”
