Police launch appeal after five-year-old girl airlifted to hospital after being hit by car in Barmouth

A young girl has been airlifted to hospital after she was hit by a car in Barmouth.

North Wales Police were called by the Welsh Ambulance Service at 5.45pm yesterday to a report that a child had been injured following the incident on the Pentre Bach estate.

The five-year-old girl was airlifted to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool for treatment.

Sergeant Raymond Williams from the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact officers on 101 or via the live web chat quoting reference number 20000485267.
