Bangor man pleads guilty to possession of psychoactive substance with intent to supply

A man from Bangor has pleaded guilty to two counts off possessing a psychoactive substance with intent to supply.

Geno Maher, 47, appeared in court today after he was recently arrested by police aiming to disrupt drug dealing in the area.

He admitted the charges and has been remanded to appear at crown Court for sentencing on 28th August.

District Inspector Chris Hargrave said: “We are determined to disrupt the supply of any drugs in the area.

“When we receive intelligence, we will act upon it and if you are involved in drugs supply, you can expect to be stopped.
