Appeal after teenager suffers life threatening injuries following a road traffic collision in Tregarth

A teenager has sustained life threatening injuries following a road traffic collision in Tregarth during the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, March 4th).

Shortly before 1:30am police were notified of a one vehicle collision involving an off-road bike whereby the bike collided with a wall.

The emergency services were called and the 16-year-old rider was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor but has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke.

Sergeant Meurig Jones of the Roads Policing Unit said: “Our enquiries to establish what happened are underway and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have seen the bike being ridden prior to the collision, to come forward.”
