A man from Anglesey has been jailed for three-and-a-half years for burglary and several cases of domestic abuse against his ex-girlfriend.

Michael Anthony Smith, 24 of Maes Cynfor, Cemaes Bay appeared from custody at Caernarfon Crown Court today.

He pleaded guilty to all the offences and also changed his plea in relation to a further charge of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs

Smith originally denied a further charge of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, but admitted guilt just before the start of his trial.

In addition to the jail term, Judge Huw Rees imposed a seven year restraining order.
