Air ambulance called as two seriously injured in Colwyn Bay crash

A youth has been airlifted to hospital following a serious crash in Colwyn Bay earlier this afternoon (Monday, June 5).
Emergency services were called shortly after 2pm to reports of a two-vehicle collision on Kings Drive involving an unregistered motorcycle and a Vauxhall Corsa.
The male rider was airlifted to hospital in Stoke by air ambulance with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
The male passenger was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with what are believed to be serious injuries.
Both the driver and passenger of the Vauxhall Corsa are reported to have sustained minor injuries.
PC Pete Doran of North Wales Police’s Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses.
He said: “We are urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone who was in the area of Kings Drive shortly before 2pm and who may have dash cam footage to contact us as soon as possible.
“The road remains closed whilst the initial investigation takes place involving colleagues from the Forensic Collision Investigation Unit.”
